Hey everyone.....

So here we are. This is my first official blog post! It feels so good to say that. I honestly don't know why I didn't start this little side hustle sooner. Actually, that's not true! I totally know why.

I WAS A CHICKEN!!! (Yes, all CAPS, triple exclamation point)

I could give you a plethora of excuses. Life is to crazy right now. My hair career needs my focus. My storefront takes up most of my time. What will I write about? Will anyone even want to read my posts? BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! I could go on, but I will save you the torture.

FEAR!

Fear was the number one factor in me pushing off this journey for so long. Fear of failure. Fear of judgement. Fear of being incapable.

In the past year and a half, however, my mindset has shifted. I have become a mother, turned 30 (yikes), and downsized my salon studio. I think simplifying my daily life and focusing on the really important things has cleared the clutter out of my brain. And definitely helped erase so much self doubt! Going through change and challenges has a way of bringing forth some real clarity.

I feel like I'm in the perfect place to start this journey. If you're reading this, thank you! Thank you for taking the time to be here. Thank you for being open to learn, grow and change together. I'll be sharing tips, tricks, and recipes as we go. I can't wait to take this journey with you!
